BOSTON, MA--(Marketwire - June 11, 2008) - Booth # 707 -- LiquidPlanner, the first online project management software that enables teams to capture and manage uncertainty, today announced the launch of the commercial version of its groundbreaking project management service. LiquidPlanner is the first and only online project management software to combine ranged estimates and a patent-pending probabilistic scheduling engine to let teams build schedules they can trust. Since launching its public beta in January 2008 at the DEMO Conference, more than 11,000 users and a number of notable enterprise organizations, including Philips, Butterball Farms, and Reed Business Information, have signed up for LiquidPlanner, generating more than 65,000 tasks and over 500,000 estimates. LiquidPlanner will be demonstrating its service and new features at the Enterprise 2.0 Conference in Boston (June 9 - 12).

LiquidPlanner provides organizations with a highly intuitive online service that they can use to both manage their projects and collaborate with team members. Since launching the public beta, LiquidPlanner has released several new features, including:

--  Email Notifications -- Team members can now get dynamic updates on  their upcoming tasks, both within the LiquidPlanner service and/or via automated email alerts;

--  Supplementary Storage -- Paying subscribers have access to 50GB of online file storage, providing teams with a single repository for all their project collateral;

--  Bulk Task Operations -- Users can add up to 20 tasks at a time, giving them a fast, streamlined way to quickly populate a project plan;

--  Import/Export Capabilities -- MS Project files or spreadsheets can be quickly imported into LiquidPlanner, and LiquidPlanner projects can be exported into CSV files, providing critical project portability;

--  Performance Optimization -- Significant enhancements have been made during the beta period to accelerate application response, eliminate latency, and improve overall system performance;

--  Schedule Engine and Usability Enhancements -- A newly designed personalized dashboard, easier-to-manage dependencies, automated flow-around scheduling, and more. 

In conjunction with today's official launch, LiquidPlanner has also announced its fee schedule for its subscribers. For individuals and teams up to three members, LiquidPlanner will remain a free service. Pricing for companies with more than three users will start at $35 per month, per user (and will be discounted to $25 per month for year-long subscriptions). In addition, LiquidPlanner has free plans for 501(c)(3) non-profit charities and educational use. Compared to other project management services, LiquidPlanner is approximately half the cost, yet provides deep functionality not available in any other on-demand project management offering.
