Hi Michael. Really glad you entered this one. We've been thinking about it too. Another idea is a directive on the create subject line like "[echo]" or something that tells LP to reply all with a message like this.
From: <new task name> 23947892@liquidplanner.com
To: <original recipient list>
Subject: Re: new task name
LP got your message and created a task.
You can email directly to it via 23947892@liquidplanner.com
Keep the ideas coming, half the things we build are from customer ideas and requests.

Charles, I am glad to hear this and I hope that other LiquidPlanner users would also find this to be a useful feature. This was a suggestion from one of our team members that is doing a great job leveraging many of the features within LiquidPlanner. I will continue to forward the ideas from our team.

The current email integration features are really great and it would be helpful to be able to capture the email address of a task automatically when it is being created.
Many times, you know when you will want the email address of a task upon creation, and presently, you have to go back to the Action tab to capture it as a secondary step.
Is it possible to add another selection box (similar to the one for sharing tasks with a portal) that will automatically send the email address of that task to the task owner when it is saved? Another possible alternative that might be easier (that would not affect the GUI) would be to use a prefix variation in the "add comment" box of something like "link@username". This would also provide more flexibility to allow the link to be sent to someone other than the owner.
