Wish List Forum > iPAD App for Liquid Planner

Our company has adopted the iPad big time. We have a few products coming out very soon for iPad. I myself you one for my work. I think it would great if we have an iPad app for liquid planner. I can track my projects on the go.

Thanks for posting Jayt. We have lots of great things we can do with the LP platform; building a native iPad app is one of them. We really appreciate it when the community posts in the wishlist and then people pile on. We want to build what the user base wants the most.

As a guy with a new iPad, I'm +1 for LP iPad for sure.

ipad app. YES. And full feature support - you have a lot more real estate than iphone to work with, so I'd like access to all features (or at least all the DATA)...iphone doesn't show "links" for example.

Agreed, it's in the road map. For the record, I'm a die hard iPad fan.

+1 +1!

(posted from my iPad :)

I'd also be a huge fan of a better iPhone app. With multiple projects and dozens of task lists the current app is nearly unuseable. We really need some filters.

I also vote for a full iPad support.

+ 7 project team

Any timelines?

October 4, 2010 | Registered CommenterSteven Teal

We're working on it as parallel project. Just finished a project meeting today in fact. Decided to go with universal app that supports both iPhone and iPad.

Timing wise it's most likely to be shipped coincident with LP 3.0. It depends on multiple factors, so too earlier to say for sure. We may ship it earlier.

You can expect the next release to support timers. Also looking at search and navigate to container.

I see that there is now an iPhone app, does that work effectively for the iPad, as well?

October 28, 2010 | Registered CommenterDavid Panitch

The iPhone app works on the iPad, but it is not optimized for it. The next release of the app will specifically support the larger screen size of the iPad.

Hi,

Any beta entry, yet ?

OK, we have a little teaser spy shot for you. The new LiquidPlanner iPad app is going to be awesome. We let the designers loose on this one and it will be a big improvement over the current iPhone App. We are not going to let that real-estate go to waste!

Taken this morning on developers desk: Spyshot.

Yes, we are also getting our feet wet with Android as you can see on the left :)
