Our forum platform uses a separate login to identify you; it's not the same as your LiquidPlanner application login.

If you wish to post and subscribe to change notifications, you will need to create a forum account.

After you login, you can access your profile by clicking your name floating at the top of the page. Clicking your name will also allow you to subscribe to e-mail change notification messages for the section you are currently looking at. 

Note, the forums are a public area. Do not post any private workspace content.

Wish List Forum > Merge Tasks

Hi,

Recently, I have wanted to be able to merge tasks. After further investigation and we are working a project, sometimes we realize that there are two tasks but really they should be only one. I would love to be able to merge the notes and such similar to how you would merge contacts in Google.

We agree. We think the most important aspect of the merge is the content; where conflicts don't need to be resolved.

Merging promise dates etc will require a bit of thinking. What we may do is create a command to move/copy content from one item to another. Would that get the job done for you?

I think it would. It would be nice if the other task was automatically deleted then though. So a "Merge content and delete task" would be awesome.
