Wish List Forum > Rescheduling Why

I requrested a feature that indicates why a plan is rescheduling. For example, a task owner has updated their time sheet, a task has been deleted, etc.

That's not a bad idea, there are generally a variety of reasons why the schedule might be updating, especially in a larger space. I'll keep this in mind though, generally knowing which user initiated a change that caused the reschedule could be helpful as well.

Eric, three are multiple ways to stay on top of what has changing in your LiquidPlanner workspace.

- You will get email notification if any item you own changes (the frequency of updates is in your profile settings; make sure it is not set to "never").

- You will get notified of changes on any item you set a watch on (eg. task, project, or tasklist). Container watches are very handy.

- You will get notified if somebody puts @Eric in a comment (again check your profile settings).

- You can go to your dashboard | changes view to see a digest of all the recent changes on tasks you own or watch.

- You can go to "collaborate | chatter" to see comments filtered to a project or tasklist.

- You can go to "collaborate | history" to see the full change history on any task.

- You can go to "analyze | total trend" to see the full estimation history on any task.

- You can use the item state filter (and custom filters) to see just items that changed recently in the plan.

LP is a dynamic system that tries to reflect reality so it is constantly being trued up. The best way to stay connected with the plan is via the collaboration and notification features

Does that help?

Best,
Charles..
