It would be helpful if it would somehow track that a sub-project or task was inserted before a previously created one.

For instance, some people always believe that work that they are involved in should take precedence. So, they will create their sub-project and tasks and drag it to the top of the list so it reorders my priorities. However, it may be the case where the newly added sub-project should not have preceded others.

It would be nice to receive an alert that project x was inserted before project y. Then, an internal discussion could be had to iron on the priorities. If you weren’t alerted to it, then people could add items that push other sub-projects way back without you knowing it.

That’s a great point. More generally you’re looking to see if someone else has altered your schedule, right?

So towards this, we’re working on email reports you will be able to subscribe to on a daily or weekly basis to get your upcoming tasks (like you do on the dashboard). This should help.

I’ll put some thought into a more specific report that might show the changes in priority of items over time. I think there is something that can be done here.
