Sigh… I really like liquid planner, and think it’s going to work great for our team. I just wish that I could find (or it would integrate in) some aspects of requirements gathering as well. So if I could wish for anything, it would be some aspects of requirements gathering on the front as well… Given the movement to “unProject” projects, I’d like the same aspects applied to Product Management as well. :-) |

Interesting comment, would you mind expanding on what requirements gathering means to you? At LiquidPlanner, we use the product for managing requirements as a combination of projects and tasks with detail on the collaborate tab. Charles. |

I would agree that this would be a great feature. Over the last few years, I’ve been using Gatherspace.com as a requirements gathering tool. This tool allows a project manager or business analyst to enter individual requirements and the system automatically assigns each one a number (REQ1, REQ2, etc.). These requirements could then be linked to specific use cases that would allow the PM/BA to have full traceability back to the requirement when they were testing the user cases during quality assurance. As the head of an 8 person Project Management Office, I’m always looking for one tool that would allow me to manage all aspects of a project in one place – with a straightforward UI. I’d be happy to assist LP further on defining this feature because I believe it will be well received by a large group of your current or future users. Terry |
