Need to be able to go back in time
|
|
Is there any possibility to display schedule in the past? I know I can always look at ‘history’ for each task to figure out how long a task has been worked on. However, I’d like an easier way to tell at a glance what tasks (not just one) have been worked on for a long time and what caused all the delays. In this case, it’s important to see all the tasks which are active for a given period of time in the past. |

That’s a very good point, we’re going to look more at displaying historical data soon. You might look at that the analysis reports such as “Total Work”, they show a historical view of estimates with logged work. More information: |

Yes, I’ve been using those reports. Unfortunately, they don’t really provide what I need, which is a view across different people and different projects. Anyway, I’ll wait patiently for the an update which will have this function. |

I think this functionality is crucial when doing project planning and I miss it a lot. Hope it will be added soon. |

We are thinking about how best to add it retrospective views. |

What I would love to have is the possibility to just drag a horizontal scroll bar on the plan tab to see the history. More advanced version would be to be able to select date range. Any estimations when this will be available? |

Oh, this is a real feature request! The first I saw of it was “I think this is crucial” under the subject. I thought it was a request for time travel. That would be even more useful. Please let me know if we can implement it. Even just sending printouts of completed task reviews back to the beginning of iterations would be really useful. |
