I can't edit the Work Tab

I can’t edit the estimation boxes in the Work Tab for my project. The instructions say to click on the “Edit” button, but there isn’t one and the picture shown in the instructions is different than mine.

I’m not positive I know exactly where you are getting stuck, so I’m going to assume that you are looking at the Work Tab shown here .

First off, to see the work tab, click on an item in your space, and then click “edit item” in the bottom left hand corner (you can also double click the item… keen!). If you are looking at any of the other tabs (description, dependencies, etc.) just click on ‘work’.

Now I think the confusing point here might be that projects show the rollups for workitems inside of them, as such you can only edit the estimates for the workitems and not the projects.

For instance if your space looked like this:

- Adventure Marketing Campaign (Project)
  - Contact Clients (Workitem)
  - Mail Adventurous Materials (Workitem)

You would be able to edit “Contact Clients” and “Mail Adventurous Materials”, while LiquidPlanner’s scheduler would do a statistical rollup of those items to generate the estimate for the Project: “Adventure Marketing Campaign”.

Yes! What actually cleared things up is that you cannot edit the estimates for projects, only items. Thank you.
