User Forum > Filter and analyze question
Understood. We have a project in our queue for allowing more dynamic reports based on filtering. It's not a small project; no ETA yet.

...I also have a wish which is similar:
I would like to be able to view a report for a folder in the organise view, but filtered for users - that is: "What is the remaining trend for user Alpha in project 1?"
:)

That is a totally valid use case. There are a few approaches I could take on that, and I'll see what I can do. I'll put this into our workspace for some more consideration.

Any progress on this request? It's definitely something I would like to see as well.

All our development efforts are focused on LP 3.0 right now, which is a major UI update. LP 3.5 will be focused on reporting. That's the best answer available at the moment.

If I create a filter under the Organize view and then switch to the prioritized view, when I view the analysis tab it appears that I get all the items associated with the tasklist. What I would really like to to have only those items that are unfiltered show up in the analysis report.
I currently have two large projects that I have set up. In the organized view I have project A and project B. Some of the task owners have tasks in both projects. Then in the prioritized tasklist I have a February sprint. I want to view how the total trend is progressing for the sprint but I would like to see the data for each project, not a rolled up report that includes both projects. What I thought would work (but it didn't) was to set a filter that only shows project A. Unfortunately the report ignores the filtering and shows all the items.
