User Forum > Share activities at client level
There is some support for this.
When your workspace is set up to use timesheets, your team will log work against tasks and activities.
Workspace owners can define a master list of task activities via Settings > Timesheets. For example, you might create activities like “design, marketing, and operations” as ways to categorize logged time. Typically, activities should match the level of detail you use when invoicing for work or doing project analysis.
The set of activities that a team member may choose from when logging work on a task is determined by which client and project it belongs to. By default, activities are shared. This means they apply to all clients and projects. You can change this to not be shared and then configure by Project.
First, go to the activity setup page under Settings | Timesheets. Edit each of the activities and turn off the shared check box as appropriate.
Now edit each project (it may be handy to pin the details pane open for this) go to the activities tab in the edit pane. Check all the activities you want to use for that project.
Lastly edit the clients in the same way, go to the activity tab and set the default settings for new projects that get added later (these are not inherited settings).
If you have many projects and activities, this is going to take some time (sorry about that). Improving this is on the feature list for our upcoming Budget Tracking release planned for later this year.

We've recently added a new business area as LP users , setting up a new major client with a different set of activities to our usual ones. They didn't want to see our ones and we don't really want to see theirs.
This means that we now need to configure activities to every folder under our main client, and only space owners can do this.
Any way of sharing activities to a specific client rather than across the whole workspace?
BTW I know this should probably be in the wishlist, but for some reason I can log into this forum but not that one? Happy for admins to move if that's better.
