There isn't a way to do that at the moment. Perhaps a more general approach might be for us to look into how we can facilitate tracking time for recurring overhead that doesn't fit into a plan.
How many different types of overhead work do you do? Are they common among all of your employees, or would it be important for each person to see a different set of overhead tasks?

I've created some overhead tasks to track time spent on overhead activities. To keep the tasks from being scheduled in my users' normal workstreams, I've created a virtual user called "Overhead" and set this to be the task owner. This approach is working well.
However, when a user enters time against the task, the time defaults to being tracked against the task owner, in this case, "Overhead". But what I really want is for the time to be tracked against the current user so that it ends up in his/her timesheet. The user can easily change who the time is submitted for via a picklist, but I'm finding that my users don't see this because it only happens on these overhead tasks, so they don't notice it.
Is there a way to make the time entry default to the current user instead of the task owner?
