Events
You can create events for vacations, conferences, or any other kind of full days away from your project work.
Events are created via the add menu.
Events are fixed blocks on the schedule that quietly fade away without pushing the schedule forward while you are away. Normal tasks flow around planned events and vacations automatically.
When you return from your well-earned vacation, don't forget to log your progress (the total number of hours you were away) for your timesheet, and mark the event done via the event edit pane.
When multiple people participate in the same event, you should create an individual event record for each person. The exception to that is company-wide events, such as holidays. In that case, simply create one event and assign it to 'everyone'. The schedules of all workspace members will be adjusted accordingly.


Although it's not necessary for accurate scheduling, we like to keep all of our events grouped together in an Events tasklist at the top of our Prioritize view for easy reference:
