Your workspace is a safe, secure place to store your project information. All accounts are verified by confirmation with the account holders email address and are password protected. Members should be encouraged to use strong passwords and not write them down.

  • We have our own data center which is located at a world class co-location hosting provider called AdHost located in Seattle WA (http://www.adhost.com/).
  • We operate under a strict security policy and all data is encrypted over the internet.
  • We operate under an industry standard architecture for maintaining data integrity against hardware or software failures. This starts with using high performance RAID 5 disks drives to store our database and your files. What this means is that a cluster of five disks in one hardware unit all contain a copy of the real-time data. So even if 4 of the 5 disks fail, we still have all the data. We also replicate the database to a second hot standby database server with its own RAID 5 setup. This is backed up using 448 encryption by Adhost. The purpose of the backup is to provide service recovery in the event that the data center gets destroyed (eg.  major earthquake). We keep backups long enough to facilitate a disaster recovery. We have service agreements with Dell for hardware replacement within 4 hours under normal operating circumstances.
  • Our technical support staff can only see your data if you explicitly grant LiquidPlanner permission via your Workspace settings. This would be at your discretion should you happen to call us for assistance.  We offer free personalized training and support (real humans) to paid customers and offer fee-based consulting on a case by case basis.
  • We do not hold your data hostage. We have three forms of data export; you can export the projects and tasks as a CSV file, you can export all timesheet tracking as a CSV file, and you can export collaboration content and files.
  • LiquidPlanner has an email integration feature (see settings) that allows people to send tasks directly into your workspace. This can be set to OFF, light, or heavy security. This is a very useful feature since it handles attachments and graphics.
