Delay Until

If you wish to delay the start of something to a certain date, you can set a "delay until” date via the scheduling tab in the edit pane.  

The “delay until” date is shown in the schedule view by a triangle:

Automatic "flow-around"

Take a look at the tasks that were originally scheduled to happen after the one that's now delayed.  Since there is no explicit dependency between the delayed task and the following tasks, they have been moved forward on the time-line to prevent you from having an idle gap in your schedule.
