Events

To ensure an accurate schedule forecast, it's important that LiquidPlanner knows about your vacations, holidays, etc. - any full days that you anticipate being away from your project work. 

Events are created via the add menu in the Projects view, or via the right-click menu.  An event will ensure that no work is scheduled for you on the day(s) in question.  

An event can be assigned to either one person or to "everyone".  An event assigned to "everyone" will adjust the schedule of all workspace members.  For events that apply to just a subset of people, each person will have to create an individual event. 

Events are not sensitive to location in the plan.  They will have the proper effect on your schedule no matter where you place them.  That said, we think it's a nice best practice to have everybody add their events into one package called "Events", just for easy reference.
