Portfolio Mode

Portfolio Mode is where you can view all of your projects grouped together by Client.  You don't have the clutter of task detail here; it's just a nice clean look at the entire portfolio of projects in your workspace.  

To enter Portfolio mode, start in the Schedule view, then click the Portfolio button.  That button will turn yellow to signify that you are in Portfolio mode:

 

  • Clients are listed alphabetically, while projects within a client are listed in priority order. 
  • This is the only place you see the actual client object in LiquidPlanner.  When you add a new client via the Add menu, you will be toggled into Portfolio mode automatically.    
  • To edit an existing client, double-click on the client to open the edit pane. 
  • You can't drag and drop in Portfolio mode.  To move a project into a different client, double-click to open the project edit pane and use the Client picker.  
  • To see the tasks for a specific project, select the project and then click the yellow open icon that appears next to it.  This will switch you back into the normal schedule mode, filtered down to just that specific project. 
  • You can't add news task or do other scheduling work in Portfolio mode.  For that, you must toggle back to the schedule view by clicking on the yellow Portfolio button.
