LiquidPlanner has proved an invaluable tool for managing the workflow of a small international team constructing a suite of websites for an NGO (Initiatives of Change, www.iofc.org). Team members were scattered in Moldova, Latin America, USA, Switzerland, Germany and UK. The ability to assign tasks to team members, monitor progress, and share knowledge of the whole project with the whole team via a web-based application was excellent.

LiquidPlanner has completely revolutionized the way in which I manage projects.  I took a position as Director, Pharmacy Operations at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, IA and 3 weeks later our hospital was flooded and patients evacuated.  We had to move our entire pharmacy operation two floors so it was imperative that I had a handle on every aspect of my operation.  Liquidplanner was there to keep me on track and current.

Thank you and LiquidPlanner so much for the Nonprofit Program License.  We are a small organization with worldly ideals. We believe that the arts are a catalyst for change and provide programming to expand that belief. We host residencies for literary and visual artists and scientists. We also put on Artposia, which are interdisciplinary events with presentations, performance, discussions, and workshops. We are a nomadic group and travel to different rural Colorado towns.

You can imagine the logistical nightmare of figuring out all these events and planning for future growth. I am the executive director, and sole employee. The rest are board members and volunteers. We have 15 people doing small pieces of the puzzle. Sort of like the Manhattan project with more peaceful values.

We have just started using LiquidPlanner, but just setting it up has forced our thinking into short, medium and long range planning. We can see how the relationships between tasks work, and illustrate that for others. It will also be a great accountability tool. I’ve gone from overwhelmed to just busy.
