Pricing FAQ
Are there special pricing deals for nonprofits and educational use?
Yes. LiquidPlanner offers discounted rates for 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations classified as public charities, as well as free licenses for classroom use. Learn more and apply.
Do I have any free seats?
If you quality for our educational program, your workspace will be granted some free seats after you are admitted to the program. If you created your workspace prior to 2/26/2009, then your workspace qualified for our 3-for-free introductory offer (which is now expired). You can check the payment status of your workspace by logging in and viewing billing section of the settings tab.
If I have multiple workspaces, will I be charged twice for members that are in more than one space?
Yes. All billing is on a per-workspace basis. We encourage teams to put all of their projects in one workspace for billing, as well as scheduling and collaboration, purposes. This saves you money and ensures that your resources are never double-booked. If you have a special circumstance, contact sales.
Is there more than one type of user license, such as a read-only license?
No, in LiquidPlanner all full workspace members are created equal. The cost is the same for every person who accesses the full project workspace, regardless of what they want to do once they are there.
What about Project Portal members? Do I have to pay for them?
Project Portals (and the people you invite to view them) are free.
What happens if I don't pay after the free trial?
For a period of time, the workspace will be available to the workspace owner in a read-only mode to allow for data export.
We periodically delete data in trial workspaces that have not been signed into for 90+ days. (A trial workspace is defined as one that has no paid or free seats and is not officially designated as Nonprofit or Educational.) We notify the affected workspace owners via email two weeks prior to the data deletion, at which point they can simply sign into the workspace to keep it active.
When will I be billed?
We always bill on the first of the month. If you've signed up for an annual plan, you will be billed on the one-year anniversary of the month in which you were first billed. If new users are added during the middle of a billing cycle, you will be billed immediately on a pro-rated basis.
If I pay for a person and they leave the company, can I transfer that license to another user?
Absolutely.
Will I be charged setup, cancellation or support fees?
No. You pay to add members to your LiquidPlanner workspace, and that's it.
Do I have to use a credit card or can you send me an invoice?
It's up to you. When you complete the billing information, you can either submit credit card information or choose to be invoiced for payment.
