Don't miss this classic collection of wisdom told in the very entertaining form of a business novel. Learn why you should put the slow moving camper at the head of the line when you hike into the woods.

This is a book you might wish you found 10 years earlier. It will change your thinking about multi-tasking, using buffers, and where to focus your attention as a manager. It focuses on better throughput and shows us that old PM habits are doing more harm than good. The business novel format is very digestible if not down right entertaining (how else would you get someone to think about the Theory of Constraints, oops forget I said that, just read the book).

A best seller business book written in the form of a fable; it very good and to the point.
According to the book, the five dysfunctions are: Absence of Trust, Fear of Conflict, Lack of Commitment, Avoidance of Accountability, and Inattention to Results.

Jim is back and this is a must read if you are a Good to Great fan. This time he looks at younger companies and how they started and dealt with luck, uncertainty, and opportunity. Is it cool to be "productively paranoid?", we think so.
-
A good foundation in the basics of managing software projects. Fundamentals are always important to understand.
