Industry standard data center hosting, 99.99% uptime
Our servers are located at Adhost, a secure, world-class hosting facility in Seattle, Washington. All data is backed-up in real-time to a second “hot standby” database server. Additionally, workspace data is encrypted (448-bit) and stored in a secure, off-site data center. We use high-end Dell servers and operate under an industry standard architecture with built-in hardware redundancy to maintain data integrity against hardware failures.
Validated user accounts and 256-bit SSL internet encryption
LiquidPlanner utilizes some of the most advanced technology for internet security available today. When you access our site using a supported browser, Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology protects information using both server authentication and data encryption, which is designed to keep content posted in your workspace safe and secure, and to prevent unauthorized access by users who have not been invited to collaborate. LiquidPlanner provides each user a unique account and password. Each account is bound to a specific and verified email address that must be entered when a user logs on.
Workspace data, access controls, and secure project portals
Content posted in a LiquidPlanner workspace is private to you and the team members invited into the workspace. Team members can have full access or restricted access to just specific projects. Clients, contractors, and partners can engage with your projects as guests via LiquidPlanner's secure Project Portals. There are three ways to export data out of your workspace: 1) Timesheet export to CSV, XML, or QuickBooks; 2) Project task export to CSV; 3) Collaboration data and files can be exported to ZIP files.
Modern browser support, no plug-ins required
LiquidPlanner is tested and supported on the latest versions of major web browsers (Firefox, Safari, Chrome, Internet Explorer (version 8 and above)) running on major operating systems (Windows, Mac, Linux). Special plug-ins are not required. Flash is not required.
Patent-pending scheduling engine / powered by Ruby on Rails
LiquidPlanner schedules like no other project management tool on the market. Using a combination of ranged estimates and statistical roll-ups, plus a unique method for displaying uncertainty in a schedule, LiquidPlanner gives teams never-before-seen insight into the relative probability of completing tasks or projects by a certain date. LiquidPlanner was developed using the Ruby on Rails web stack and a healthy dose of JavaScript. This gives LiquidPlanner a rich, desktop-like user interface and cross-browser support on all modern web browsers
