LiquidPlanner honored as the only new company included in the 2016 report; will showcase its unique Dynamic Project Management approach at the Gartner PPM & IT Governance Summit

Seattle—May 26, 2016—LiquidPlanner, dynamic project management software for IT and technology teams, was recognized by top independent research firm Gartner, Inc., as a highly flexible and cost-effective collaboration and project portfolio management vendor in the 2016 Cloud-Based IT Project and Portfolio (PPM) Magic Quadrant1 report. This marks the first time the company has been included in the Magic Quadrant report, and LiquidPlanner was the only new vendor added this year.

LiquidPlanner is the only dynamic online project management software available and has become the application of choice for agile technology and manufacturing teams looking for a better way to plan and prioritize work, manage team resources and gain access to realistic and automatically updated delivery schedules.

Built on the foundation that teams work best when they organize tasks by priority, make best/worst case estimates, and collaborate in one central location, LiquidPlanner is pioneering a dynamic approach to project management. This new approach helps teams adapt to unknowns, uncertainties, and unforeseen circumstances that are common in complex work.

For the report, Gartner analysts selected just ten vendors throughout the Cloud-Based PPM market to determine strengths and challenges for each. LiquidPlanner received high marks for its highly configurable, easy-to-use and cost-effective platform that is well positioned to serve both IT teams large and small. In addition, LiquidPlanner received high marks for new, useful features like canned and fully customizable Dashboards, automatically updated Gantt charts and completion dates, and an all-new planning intake widget. These features enable IT teams to instantly create data-rich dashboards that can be shared across teams, or with external stakeholders. In addition, the new project intake widget allows customers to capture project and task demands directly from the dashboard view. These are just some of the key features noted in the report.

“There is no shortage of project management options for customers to choose from and the net result is a confusing and complex market for customers to wade through,” said Liz Pearce, CEO of LiquidPlanner. “We’re extremely proud to be pioneering a new approach to project and work management that accurately reflects the true, dynamic nature of work. It’s gratifying to be recognized in this high caliber report, as it’s a strong signal that our approach to the market is unique and highly differentiated. We hope this report helps teams looking for a new way to manage their work immediately feel confident in the value of our solution.”

In addition to being named in the report, LiquidPlanner will demonstrate its unique dynamic project management solution to IT, Governance and Project Management technology executives at the upcoming Gartner PPM & IT Governance Summit, June 6 – 8, in Orlando, Florida. You can find LiquidPlanner on the expo floor at booth #407.
