Samantha Ferguson

Title and description of what you do:

Online Marketing Manager. I create and implement SEM, Email, Social Advertising and all other forms of online marketing strategy for LiquidPlanner.

What was it that made you know LP was the perfect fit for you?

LiquidPlanner offered me the chance to build out strategy and implement new marketing innovations while working with a team that is filled with awesome personalities. What more could I want?

How do you beat boredom?

I get bored easily so it’s a constant battle! I love to work out, explore the various parks in Seattle, BBQ,  go to movies, hit up happy hours,  read, entertain myself on my iPhone, visit Yard House downtown (yum), travel, and play with other people’s dogs . . . I’ll get one of my own sooner or later!

What do you appreciate the most in your co-workers?

Lightheartedness, intelligence and fun.

A favorite book

I still find myself going back to the His Dark Materials series (The Golden Compass) by Philip Pullman as one of my favorite books. I can’t recall another time when I’ve been more entertained by a book.

What’s your favorite lunch?

That’s a tough one. My go-to menu item to order will always be a Caesar salad, I just can’t get enough. I also dig any type of Thai or Mexican food.

Your personal work motto:

Always ask questions. Questions give way to answers and solutions.

What music are you listening to these days?

I listen to various types of music. Right now on my playlists you’ll find a lot of ‘90s music (including but not limited to TLC, Destiny’s Child, Train, Semisonic, etc). There’s also Lana Del Rey, Lily Allen, Ed Sheeran, Mickey Avalon,  B.o.B., Jason Aldean, Blake Shelton . . . and a million more plus my all time favorite artist, Justin Timberlake.
