New release offers advanced data and analysis capabilities for enhanced reporting

Seattle—June 13, 2017—LiquidPlanner, predictive project management software for manufacturing and IT teams, today announced the release of advanced custom fields functionality that enables organizations to draw deeper insights and analyze the data that is important to them.

Many organizations struggle to keep multiple project plans up-to-date across a myriad of different systems, which makes getting meaningful data out of those plans nearly impossible. With this latest product update, organizations can now capture, track, and analyze text, date, numeric, and currency information using advanced custom fields. New custom color indicators also make it easy to quickly visualize project status.

“Every organization has unique processes. This new functionality offers the ability to track and report on items that are relevant to their business,” said Liz Pearce, CEO of LiquidPlanner.

All data can be easily summarized and filtered across multiple dimensions (e.g., client, team, or status) and is synthesized for viewing across dashboards, in analytics reports, on project schedules, and is accessible via the API.

This new functionality now allows teams to answer questions specific to their organization’s reporting needs, such as:

  • What is the overall health of the projects across my portfolio?
  • What is the expected year-one revenue of the projects scheduled to be completed this quarter?
  • What is the expense budget for the projects being run out of our North America facilities?
  • What were the original deadlines communicated to each of our clients, and how do they compare with the predicted finish dates?
  • How many issues have been logged against each maintenance project?

With this kind of information readily accessible, managers can make the best possible resourcing, prioritization, and escalation decisions.
