New Updates | Release 25 Summary

Release 25 | December 17, 2021

Our final release of the year provides updates that make it easier to find what you need and take action in fewer steps. We accomplished this by updating the left side navigation bar, restructuring the Academy layout, and redesigning the Hours Editor to support assignment editing.

Navigation Changes

People: Manage workspace members, resources, and placeholders by navigating to People on the left-side navigation bar.

Timesheet Review and Timesheet Export moved from the left-side navigation bar to People.

Administration: Data customization features, workspace settings and access controls are found under Administration, formerly called Workspace. This is also where plan information, license and usage meters are displayed. Organization Administrators can upgrade plans and manage billing via the Manage Account tile.

User Menu Moves to Upper-Right

Changed: The profile and help menus were consolidated into a single user menu at the upper-right corner of your workspace. Click on your user name to open the menu. Access your profile, switch workspaces or logout from this location. You may also Contact Support, Share Feedback or Book Time With Us. The User Menu includes lesson suggestions from the Academy. Click on a link to open the lesson.

Academy Layout Restructured

New: The Academy layout was restructured to display the Course and Track titles in the same view. Click Academy in the left side navigation bar to access the course page. Click on a Track to access the lessons. The orange progress bar moves to the right as lessons are marked done and turns blue once you have completed every lesson in the Track.

Grid View Capabilities Expanded

New: Assignments have been added to the grid! View assignment-level schedule dates and tracking data by selecting “Assignments” in the row type drop-down menu.

Hours Editor Redesigned

Liquidplanner release 25 updates to hourly tracking

Changed: The Hours Editor was redesigned so you can edit the assignment name or reassign work in this window and mark the assignment done without having to go back to the Assignment table on the Task Edit Panel.
